Beverley Chalmers (DSc. (Med); Ph.D.) Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
University of Ottawa. The Nazi Final Solution is distinguished from other genocides through the mobilization of scientists in its implementation. Doctors, in particular, played a significant role through eugenics, euthanasia, extermination and experimentation programs. The Ethics programs of our current medical world, did, however, rise from the ashes of the Holocaust.
